BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

I'm contemplating making the trip out for BB04 and I'm wondering about how many will be that that have 4" or less lift and all the other bad ass /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif upgrades I wish I could talk my wife into.

Any moderate level trail runs? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

It may be obvious from this post I have no clue what goes on at the BB. /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

We had quite a few bone stock k5's last year that did quite well... Thers 100's of trails out there and alot of them are more scenic type trails than technical hardcore stuff.

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

I went last year in my stock k5 right after I bought it and I had a blast. Sure I couldn't run the hardcore trails but the trail that I did run was well worth it. Just amazing to see the terrain and to experience Moab period. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Do it and I promise you won't regret it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hey who knows if you do push your limits enough and break something you might be able to convince the wife that the upgrade is a stock part /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't not attend because you are worried about how bad a$$ your rig is. The more the better, plenty of runs for everyone....

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

Sounds cool. I definitely would like to go. I've been to Moab a couple of times myself, but I've never been able to get in as much wheelin' as I'd like.

I'm on the front range, Ault. Just east of Ft Collins.

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

You gotta go!!!! I went stock with very little trail experaince and had a great time. Everyone was helpful and made sure I had a good time.
Just find a spotter you can trust and follow directions. They kept telling my that the grinding sounds alot worse than it realy is.
The hardest part of the whole trip was finding the meet&greet /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
Don't miss it /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I'm going to try my best to be there.

Cool pics. Looks like you pushed you blazer to the max in some of those pics. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

Yeah, you should go! You could go for years and still not run all of the trails that you could run in a stock K5.

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

If I have the truck running rught. If the kids football schedule permits. IF the trucklines is operating in such a manner that I can take a few days off. Then I plan on making the trip to BB04.

Anyone come from further than Alabama last year?

Pretty sure I am a little farther than Alabama. I flew to Phoenix AZ, from Vancouver BC, bought a k5 there and then drove it to the grand canyon, vegas, moab, vancouver, then back home to the Okanagan. Got to know my new truck in a hurry thats for sure

Re: BB04, anyone going that has less than 4\" lift?

No doubt you should go! Everyone that wheels with me, seems to have there truck grow a few inches by the next run /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif.
Like JMS (Lowrider) said, no one gets left behind in my past groups. You said you didn't have a clue what was going on with Blazer Bash so check out these pictures to see past ones - BB02 & BB03 (and many other pics)
You WILL enjoy it. /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

We drove 1200 miles each way from Surrey, BC last year. A few people there drove 1200 or more...
