BB04 trails?

Actually what is a good trail around a moderate level with some bypasses for difficult obstacles? Something I could run myself while watching some of you guys get stupid on the big stuff /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif I'm sure the guys I'm bringing with me would love the opportunity to watch some of that. They've never seen any wheeling even close to Moab before.

Any suggestions? /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

A must do on my list, since I haven't done it yet (except the Gold Bar part), is the Poison spider/Golden spike/Gold Bar combo. It will probably require an early start, but that's fine by me. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've done both ends but not Golden Spike (except for the part from the Rim to the Golden Crack), so it's on my list, too.

I'm kind of tempted to try Behind the Rocks again - last time my engine died on the climb up White Knuckle Hill, but now I think I've got the float level dialed in better; also, we only did half of it. Then again, I might just be pushing my luck too far.

I'm not sure I'll want to do Hell's Revenge this time; been on the regular stuff twice, but I don't think the Lowider has graduated to Escalator or Hot Tubs.

Looking at the map, I think Steel Bender sounds good for Friday, assuming the BBQ is in the Old City Park again; that trail would have the advantage (besides the fact that I haven't done it and want to) that it comes out in Spanish Valley - ought to be a short way to the BBQ (which probably means I don't have to listen to more complaints that I only drive fast when I'm hungry!). Another one south of town that caught my eye was Flat Iron Mesa. Anyways, just some thoughts on 'keeping-it-close-to-the-BBQ' trails for Friday /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Lets just avoid Upper Hell before the BBQ this time... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

Lets do it after the BBQ hehehe.. We can all ziptie on some of those cool neon lights under our rigs and whhheeeelllll... /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I've got rock lights so night time wheeling is nothing I'm against. Upper hell I dunno... My truck is awfully long and I have a nice flat belly but just don't know if I'd end up holding everyone up for an hour while I get off the rock SW was stuck on last year... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I believe that would be "break over", the same one that I broke my locker on...

I wanna see the long a$$ed 4 dooo in upper at night.....
Jason don't worry about holding the group up there.

I was actually thinking easy trail before BBQ maybe optional trail after then on sat. doing pritchet and upper in the same day since you can just drive across the highway to get to upper from the out on pritchet.

Why not throw in Behind the Rocks back to the highway as you come out from Pritchett..... /forums/images/graemlins/pimp1.gif

I can't wait. I'm getting all giddy like a little school girl /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Oh did I mention I just found a d60 /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif got to pick it up this weekend

I say we do Pritchet Friday morning and turn around and come back through. Then do Behind the Rocks and Upper Saturday.

Brandon, you could probably do this (Pritchett-Behind the Rocks-Upper) in your buggy without even stopping, except for maybe at the highway /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
