Sucks, I don't think I've slept right in the last month.
Alright, I’m seriously thinking that a last minute trip to Moab is just what I need. My Blazer is not really built for what I like to do in Moab, but I regularly wheel an 80 CJ7 on 37s. I’ve never made a Blazerbash, but think I can make it happen this year. What’s the general consensus on non-bowtie vehicles? Am I going to catch Hell for wheelin’ a Jeep at a Blazer event? I’m ok with a little ridicule, but what am I in for…be honest. That said, it has an all Chevy drivetrain, 5.3L, 4l60E, in fact the key is square, so it like a Jeep but better.

You'll be fine. You wouldn't be the first to show up in a non-GM vehicle. You still get to hang with all of the others and enjoy the awesome.

I can't think of a year we haven't had other vehicles at the event. I think we've had more than 2 Toyotas at just about all of them and most years there's been a Jeep or 2. We've usually had a Ford or 2 as well one year we had about half a dozen fullsize Broncos come.
In my mind the fact that it's a CJ7 and a JK is points ahead anyway.

I think the difference at Blazer bash is for the most part we are friends. So yah we will tease harshly. We will also be the first to help with any issues.

Yep always a few Brand X there. I brought my total stock Explorer with 200,000 miles on it to the bash twice, when the car gods frowned on the jimmy prep. Bring it, guaranteed you will have a good time and begin planning for the next time.
Part of the plan is to get some ideas for Blazer upgrades. Your Rig has always been an inspiration.

Slight change of plans. I'm going to try and get the Blazer ready for some mild trails. I want to see what she can do on the slick rock. If all else fails, I'll be there with the CJ. Wish me luck!
