BB17 trail selection

widow maker = steel bender
I'm really liking this and may try to talk my buddy into it. I just don't want to bash my virgin sheet metal.
You should totally do the Pritchett/Behind the Rocks trail with me then!
:haha:

I make no body-damage-free guarantees, but it shouldn't be a concern. I do have dents but I strive not to beat my truck up needlessly.

Here are the trail runs we'll be offering for this year's event:

Sunday
Crack 'n' Back, Trail Boss needed
Moab Rim, Trail Boss bent72

If you're willing to help out with one of the runs above that need a trail boss please let myself or ktmoutfront know.

More about the trails to follow in posts below.

I just got registered. I'll be hanging around Sunday and can lead Crack and Back.

The wifey says I better get a plan together if I wanna go this year. I'm thinking Hell's Invasion, Scott's big adventure and not sure on Sunday. Might just head home that day, I'll have to look at the requirements for Moab Rim.

My wife planted a seed the other night and now I am all giddy... Not sure how it will all work out but I'm hoping to make it this year. I'll probably bring my dodge and be shunned by all you guys but I don't think my Chevy will cut it on Pritchett? Who knows what will happen between now and then? I just went through the 2016 bb pic thread and my face looked something like this...

It's not for sure yet... I have a lot of details to work out first!

Anyone run a "longer" wheelbase on pritchett? Last time I went I was 125" on 38s. Haha which is probably pretty long compared to a blazer... Anyway my chebby is somewhere around 134" on 40s. Last time I ran Pritchett was ejs 09 so I can't really remember if it would work or not?

Last time I ran it at 127" on 35s, this year I'll be on 37s. What are the specs on your rig besides wheelbase and tire size?
Because the plan is to run Pritchett and continue on through Behind the Rocks (backwards) we need to keep moving. Long wheelbase will help in some places and hurt in others. I had to winch up Rocker Knocker, but walked right up Chewie.
We'll also have to be careful and not beat on our rigs to the point of breaking. There are winch points on most of the harder obstacles so winching up will be quicker than fixing a broken rig in some cases.

I've taken multiple crewcabs and suburbans through Pritchett. It's not a tight trail that wheel base will hurt.

Is it possible to ban pictures from ever being posted on a forum ever again?
