In light of recent events at EJS, I wanted to address this to everyone.
We’ve done good not having any major incidents in the past. I believe we are a higher standard and are capable of maintaining that
So just a few small reminders as Wade and I start working towards the registration page in the next month:
1) Read the trail description and requirements. If it says certain equipment is required, it is and it is at the Trail Leaders discretion to dismiss people from running a trail. Yes it has happened. If you have people not on the site signing up or traveling with you, please keep them abreast of these expectations
2) Pedestrians and drivers need to use common sense. If someone tells you to move/do something for safety reasons, it’s probably a good idea
Most of our trail leaders and many of the folks partaking of BB are very experienced. Let’s learn from them and enjoy our activities at the same time
Thank you
