How much horsepower could a stock cast crank and rods take on a BBC 454? Thanks.

600+ The limit on the rods is actually rpm, not power.
I've run prepped 3/8 truck rods with arp bolts to 7000+, but I wouldn't recommend it. 7/16 rods should be indestructable but they also cost as much as a decent aftermarket rod.
