BBC/8.1L stainless header options, what do you guys recommend?

Ok, so my front shackles keep wearing through the collectors on my full length headers of my 84 K30, of course causing efi fuel dump/popping as I have the o2s in the collectors.
Long story short I'm gonna re-engineer the 3" ss exhaust bc I don't like the present layout and crossmember interference. Also adding another cross member.
I'm looking for ss headers in a mid length block hugger as I'll be tig welding ss V-bands on the collectors. Of course I can absolutely weld these connectors to mild steel headers but that's not how I roll. Thanks in advance for the help guys!

Mine are “BB8”.

Fyi, Mrk5 had problems making them fit his truck but I don’t know if it’s a 2wd frame or crew cab frame issue.

Hmmm, I'm not sure there's much difference after the cross member area and I'm also running an ORD c member so things should be clear...

Iirc, his problem was the main frame rail hitting a tube or two. His is a converted 2WD so that could be the difference.

I didn't think there was that much difference in the Sq frames between 2-4wd until you went 1ton

I have these for sale, bought them for my 8.1L swap but they hit the extended shock mounts, not sure if they are stainless or ceramic coated steel. PM me if your interested.

And a crew cab is a 1 ton
But pretty sure the difference is past the firewall

Mad Dog headers are stainless. Think most of their offerings are fender well exit, but I believe at one time they had in frame exit.

Hit the extended shock mounts how? Not sure I understand what you're saying here.

Here's a pic of my shock mount with Doug Thorleys that I had to modify , the Edelbrocks hit the mounts and I didn't want to butcher them.

Right on, coated I did the magnet test.

Update, I found the instructions online and they state that they are indeed 409 stainless and a magnet will stick. I learn something new everyday.

They only sell through their site. Fairly positive at one time they had in frame exits now that I think about it because I planned on picking a set up. From the sets I've seen on other peoples trucks they look to be good quality.

I have a set on my k5, really good quality and fit perfect. I'm sure if u called them they can make what ever you want.
