BBC Headers HOK- 2463HKR and what accessories?

I have Had great luck since I've started using copper header gaskets, No problems yet.

I would say retighten after the first 8 heat cycles, then you are good to go. If you get the copper gaskets they will stay tight with less heat cycles, maybe 1 or 2. Aluminum works good too, not quite as well since there are many thin sheets to crush. Over the years on different vehicles I have tried regular (suck), copper, aluminum, and now the new carbon gaskets. From now on I will stick with copper. I think they stay tight with less heat cycles, and I have been using one set since 1996 on one of my vehicles.

Ok, I'll probably go for the copper gaskets and pick up some good grade 8 bolts for the headers. Thanks.

I had good luck with the supplied gaskets with the hookers I put on my nova. When we pulled the engine, they had to pry the headers off.

I also lightly snugged up the bolts after every time it ran for a week also.
