BBC squareport intake

I need a squareport intake with a Dominator 4500 carb mount.

anyone?


something like a vintage edelbrock c454 intake would do too.

I have a factory marine square port intake but don't recall what carb fits it. The marine manifolds have a bronze water passage through the aluminum so that salt water doesn't errode the manifold. The manifold I have, some of the aluminum over the water passage is not there (was cast this way back in the day) but doesn't affect it's operation it is just cosmetic. If you're interested I can dig it out and take some pics for you.

sure that would be cool. I have a vintage edelbrock c247x manifold. but its a 4150 series squarport mount. by the time I have an adapter on there its' too tall to stay underhood.

thanks for the pics. thats not going to be able to do it for me. I'm going to have to find an actual edelbrock c-454 intake, its the only intake that I know of that will do. its been a bear to try and find though.

they appear like a stock-ish dual plane. but flow like a hurricane as I understand. and I can fit my dominator and air cleaner under the stock hood.

I got that c-427x with the 990 heads I picked up. but just too damn bad its only a 4150 holley base.

I found a guy in MN with a torker 4500. which appears to be edelbrocks literal reincarnation of the c-454. so for the 100 he wants I'll go with that.
