I am currently running rough country 4 inch springs. They ride rough and dont flex the best in the world. I do not want to go to 52 inch springs up front. So I am at the point of going with BDS or having custom springs made. For people who have BDS springs what are your thoughts? How well do they ride and how well do they flex? Any pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks

I wheel with guys that have bds springs and they work very well for off the shelf springs. That being said if you have the means a set of custom springs are the way to go. I remember reading a big thread on custom front springs a while back and iirc through ord you can have a set made up in the $500 range. More than off the shelf springs but not that much, especially if you can sell your current springs to help offset the cost.

Im still on the edge with custom springs. I know they would be wonderful for offroad but the fact that BDS has a no question asked policy about the warranty that is hard to say no to. Also I do not need a super flexy ride. My plan is to have a tube buggy here in the next bit for the real crazy rough trails. The k5 will be my weekend camping and mild wheelin rig.

I use BDS 8in lift HD springs with 1 leaf removed with ORD extended shackles and they flex pretty well under the circumstances. Doesn't ride like a Caddy by any means but they are better than the cheapo lifts a few of my buddies have.

i love my 4" EZ ride springs now compared to the pro comps before hand. Much more flex as well
