I am needing some information on BDS lifts. Anyone use them? Are they pretty good or should I keep looking for something different. I am thinking about the 6 inch lift for a 75 K5. Any experiences with them would be helpful.
Thanks.

They have the best warranty... and they have the best flex besides TC...
I'd get them! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I think they're the only option. Unless you go with a custom spring which they don't offer. The warranty alone is worth it, the fact that they have a good ride and nice articulation is just a bonus /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yep, you break it, they fix it /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

You bought it? You broke it? have it with you? trade ya.

That is how easy they can be to deal with. Don't have to send it back either. Bring it to a retailer and they do the trade. Mine ride awsome. If you get real good, the tech line will help you out with some type of special application. (like an 8" lift main spring with a 6" middle pack, and a 4" lower pack) or the sort. They do not make custom set ups. They can do some special things for you as long as they see it as a quality product.

Wow! With a warrenty like that how can you resist! Only problem I can see is that the nearest dealer is in Fairbanks- over 300 miles away! Well, guess I will have to do a road trip in the next month or so before the snow flies. Thanks for all the information guys.

I would do that if I could find a shop that will ship ground or through the post office. The second day air shipping that most shops insist on using just kills us up here.

I run a 6" BDS lift on my '74 K10 converted to one ton, and I am pleased with them. They flex well, ride is reasonable, and BDS will warranty the spring I bent when my truck fell over. I'd definitely buy from them again, best buy for the money!

you mean is that for two or both...? /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

that is for a set of 2

BDS has a strict no prices advertising policy, so you might have a somewhat hard time getting prices.
