I want to run the 6" BDS front springs, but I want to put in the ORD greasable bushings and new shackles. Anyone know if this setup will work? According to the review on off-road.com/chevy the BDS bushings are bigger. Anyone running BDS springs w/ the ORD bushings? Thanks!

Contact Offroad Design about this. On that review, the greaseable bushings were originally ordered for Skyjacker springs and ORD might have the correct bushings for BDS but I'm not too sure. To fix my problem, I used he BDS bushings and cut small channels on the inside for the grease. I was then able to used the greasable bolt and inner sleeve. ORD will probably need the BDS bushing measurements.

Could you post the measurements and the answer you get hear? Thanks

The measurements are
front eye- 1.490 inside diameter
shackle- 1.100 inside diameter
That is what Rene from BDS told me. I will post what Steve says.

ORD does have two different bushing sizes for the aftermarket springs.

One size fits the Skyjacker and Superlift springs.
The other size fits all the other major lift company springs.

Check with ORD for the correct part no.s.

OK, I am running BDS springs w/ the greasable shackle kit. BDS springs are a bit narrower then the stock springs (in the front only), and thats why they state the bigger bushings. However, I am running ALL ord bushings up front. In the back I had to use the BDS bushings.

Rene from BDS said the big bushing companies, like energy and stuff make 3 different sizes of bushings. Ones for stock springs, ones for aftermarket springs (lift springs), and ones for skyjacker and superlift springs. He said their springs use the ones for aftermarket springs, which are bigger than the stock ones. That might mean that the BDS bushings are bigger than stock, not bigger than other companies, which would mean they are the right size for the ORD bushings. Anyone get what I am saying?
