I'm still shopping for a dang radiator. Checked out be cool but I'm confused. I want a direct fit. I can pull up a radiator that costs 299 or one for 850 and the specs are identical. dual row, al, same dimensions. what am I missing? I just wanna cruise in the az summer and run 185 degrees eng temp. would ac be asking too much???

Motor specs, gears, tire size, and trans are all gonna have a major affect on how hard you lug your engine. Please include them.

As far as beef aftermarket rads becool is a good company and I've never heard anything bad but we swear by griffin here at work.

I've looked at some of those BeCool's, and think that added oil cooling, and maybe thicker materials for the tanks would be the difference? Maybe their website would explain....I'm waiting for a Summit brand direct fit.

my old boss has a 68-69 mustang 351 bored / stroked to 429ish cid with 550-600flywheel hp on dyno and 150 hp shot of n2o.

he got the car as 95% done fast sale wife basicly taking soon to be ex husban to the cleaners.

well it had 2 core stock 302 rad in it like new with electric fan setup with full temp control unit.

lets just say it was not fun to drive unless under 1500 rpm all the time or heat would sky rocket up.

we got him a brand new becool rad biggest possible for car and even had to modify core support to fit as was base model cupport not ment for big rad.

installed that rad and twin becool fan setup and old full adjustable temp controler. looks great and bolted in great no problems.

boss took it out for a rip. floged the ever livin crap out of it on a 20 min test drive. come back and no fans running . thinking oh crap good by motor. look in and temp at 175 and he said it never went above 195 :thumb:

that right there sold me on the efficency of good aluminum radiator.
