bead locks

Have you decided if you are going to get rid of your beadlocks yet? Staun does not offer the width I need...

I run Hutchison bead locks on my DD and mounted Goodyear tires on them and have had no problems. I did have to redo one but it was an o-ring problem. I'm not sure why they told you they have to know what tire you are using but I bought them used and don't know what tire they where made for and like I said no problems.

You never answered the question about what size wheel you're trying to run (Diameter & Width) :deal:

The TireLocs I've got were made for my 16.5 x 9.75"w wheels. They will work equally well on my new 17" wheels since it's such a minor change in diameter.

My guess is that you must be running some uber-wide wheel if Staun doesn't offer a product that will work????

:usaflag:

To answer the question, "Im not exactly sure...." I bought the tires new/used and they were already mounted and I've never had the tires off the wheel to measure... The tire is a 44x19.5x16.5 bogger... so I'm guessin somethin between a 12-15" wheel...

Anyone ran a "wide" H1 beadlock for wide tires? I found a guy out of Kansas that makes extra wide wheels out of the H1 beadlocks, he basically puts two wheels together to make one wide wheel. I am looking for some input from my fellow K5'rs here. Also, anyone have any for sale? =P

I'm running the same tires you've got on stock 8 bolt H1's without a problem. I'm looking at selling them, shoot me a PM if you're interested.
