My H1's will cost me right at 131.00 each. But that's not counting having my centers shipped. I think at bang for the buck, the H1's are hard to beat. My per wheel price breaks down like this:
30.00 - wheel
32.00 - center (pressed USA6x6)
35.00 - cut out old center / install new
30.00 - rock ring and install
4.00 - rebar ring for backside of wheel (friend had them made)
I'm having a total of 5 wheels done. I'll be installing the rebar rings myself when I get the wheels back.
I'll be using my cut down mag runflats. Unfortuntaly my woodworking bandsaw runs too fast to keep the blade (metal cutting) alive to cut mine down. Not to mention I can't get them cut down as much as I want, due to some clearance issues on the saw. So, my friend is taking them to work to cut them down for me. I'll pay him a little something for the favor, so that too would have to add to the per wheel cost, but it won't be anything major.
I sent my wheels to Creative Engineering Off Road to be recentered. I've heard great things about their work. Everyone says thier centering jobs come out straight and true, so it's worth paying to have it done since mine will see highway speeds. Another member from here is taking them for me, on his way home (going to college here), for a little extra gas money.
But when I'm done, I'll end up with double beadlocks that have a rock ring on the front, and a reinforcement ring on the back, for around the price of some nice standard rims. It can be done for cheaper than that, but seeing as how they will be on the street (more often at first, less later on) I think it's worth it, especially since it really isn't costing all that much when you think of what you're getting.
