CA Beadlocks worth $500?

Are these beadlocks worth $500 without the tires? I've never had a beadlock rim so I'm not sure what they would be worth. These would need to be cleaned up, etc. Just wondering what others input on this set would be. I'm not trying to bash the seller, just wanting more information.

Wondering if it would be better to make my own beadlocks. I'm not in any hurry. These will be for BB17 and other crawling or mudding.

kind of yucky for 500 if you ask me . then you need to get rid of the old tires.

The more research I do the more I want to make my own. I can get the wheel I want and get some more welding experience. If I don't feel comfortable welding them myself, my son-in-law is an excellent welder and would be glad to help me.

I see all types of sizes and styles for the tires so those won't be a problem. Which means I'll go with the 17" tire and wheel combo.

Thanks for the input. I was just curious on what someone thought about that price for the beadlocks only. The tires in the ad would do me no good.
