I tried searching but could not find anything! :dunno:

I'm wondering if there are any threads on fabbing up anchor points in the bed for the use of tie downs and such so that with the top off the K5 and do real work!:D

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Here is what I have in my K5. I have two near the back, when positioning in the back, make sure you put the tailgate up and still have room. (tailgate has an angle to it when u close it.

I have 2 in the back and 2 under the rear seat, so when the rear seat is folded up, I can utilize all 4 points.

Ive got it plated underneath as well and used grade 8 bolts.

In my 86 Blazer, I replaced all of the topper bolts with eyescrew bolts. I put a nut/lockwasher/washer on the top of the bed rail, with eyescrew facing downwards. Then you have like 6 or so tie down points on each side of the bed.

This will be my next step to do.

I work for Big Tex trailers. we carry a recessed ring good for like 5000lbs. drill a hole with a hole say and bolt it in. I put them in cargo trailers every time a customer wants em. they work great
