has anyone used the new dupli-color bed armor with kevlar. It looks like a good product. Its water based so cleanup is easy, and it doesn't have a pot life so if you don't use all of it you can save the rest for later. you don't have to mix a catalyst.

there was a recent thread on this, and the few reviews weren't great.... other than the guys on Trucks pretty much being ghey over the product...

I'm not a fan of Duplicolor products the majority of the time... seen some pretty crappy stuff from them over the yrs..

on a side note... all the water-based, no catalyst, ease of use line of thinking is NOT indicative of high quality.. easy, yes... durable, not so much... a catalyzed resin is always far superior to an air-dried for durability, etc...

Ok what roll on bedliner do you guys recommend then?

anyone you buy is going to be lower quality than a spray, catalized product such as rhino, linex etc.


With that being said als liner gets great reviews, worth a check out.

They are all crap unless you get the professionally sprayed on stuff as said above rhino etc. I used a duplicolor product on my old new truck (2005) and was really upset because I sanded all my paint to put it on right and it flaked off any time something was put in the bed. Keep in mind I didn't use the Kevlar stuff.

They (roll one) also don't offer the body panel protection you get from the thick stuff.

I never got to get my truck redone professionally although I wanted too because some old lady came across the double yellow on an undivided highway in a blizzard in a corolla.

In our area the spray on "line-x" has been the biggest thing. Has a nice texture and remains somewhat flexible.

Line X really seemed to win out in the end over Rhinoliner on the non-do-it-yourself side of things.... much more prevalent now than rhino...

if it wasn't a friggin nightmare taping my cage off, I'd consider it... well, and the money.. so I'll just do mega thick herc..... it's really just to hold my truck mats in place anyway...

I've tried , or had friends who have tried pretty much every DIY liner out there, the only stuff made that I can honestly say compares to Line X is Al's liner. It is hands down the best DIY liner I have ever seen, and in comparison it's really not that expensive compared to the crap they sell at the parts stores. Just my $.02

well, in my case Herc is dirt cheap and I already have a gallon... is the Al's catalyzed?

done alot of research on this and Als seems to be the cats meow for the diy crowd.

Other than that it would be line x hands down for me
