I have been wanting to bob my longbed for a while now, decided to jump into it finally. I had to stop for today to get some homework done and I am going out of town next weekend so it will be a couple weeks for the finished pics. Also need to pick up some finer grit polishing disc's to clean up a little more. Overall I am thinking it is coming along good. That is 14"'s off.

nice, looks good
Got an overall pic of the truck now?

I have always liked that look. The wheel base or a longbed and the departure angle of a short bed.... I took 9" out of the Jimbug really helped alot

Jimbug...you out there?

Alright, I had a chance to work on the truck some more today and snapped a pic before putting it back on the side of the house. I am almost hesitant to post it because the shadow, I didn't even think about it when I took it, I was just beat. Here it is anyway.

Here is what it looks like through my bedroom window, furthest I could get from it where it is parked...

Looks good. Did you cut off any material at the bottom behind the rear tire? It looks shorter, but not not by much.

Yea, jimbugs avatar is pretty "distracting".;)

You guys are silly! That is my Wife and her friend smushin thier "bumpers" together at her 29th b-day party...

Iroc GMC I didn't know Wicked Fab was still around? I moved out to the surface of the sun a few months prior to Ryan's passing... he is the one that built the Jimbug miss him alot a very talented guy!!!

Iroc you need some rocker protection on that biatch now like the profile shots

Rocker protection is next on the list. Using this 2x4x3/16" tubing. My dad is a welding inspector so he has been picking up a bunch from steel shop owners we know. Still trying to decide on how I want to do it.

Ryan hooked me up on the steering a few years back. He told me a lot about Jimbug, built before he had a shop right? Not sure if you know Kyle who worked on some stuff there, but he started his own bus. called Driven Industries Tube Worx and he will be doing a cage for me real soon here.

Yeah I know Kyle... Does he still look like The Greatest American Hero? (may be before your time??? old 80's TV show)

Yeah Ryan built most of it in his driveway.... pretty awesome considering what a nice neighborhood his folks live in:D We did the whole teardown and everything there.... massive piles of body parts everywhere.

I think youll love the rockers they should help out a bunch and keep your doors opening
