Ok so now I have to bolt my bed back down.. forgot to take a bolt off of my workbench as im going to buy new bolts....

what size and length are the bolts on a chevy bed? I know I need 8 of them.... but forget size and lenght.. :doah:

I might have a whole bed mounting harware kit from LMC truck if you wanna buy that off me. If you're interested PM me and I"ll check tonight to see if its in the shop.

thanks for the offer but I just need the size... seems I have to work late anyway so I wont be able to go today..

I can get the bolts for less than $5 with lock washers and nuts.....which will be cheaper than just the shipping for yours.....

Looks like I have to PM to help a brother out now ... I recant my offer on the bolts they are not for sale. I guess I have to post in the sale section instead of helping someone out with some stupid bolts :screwy:...

Think what you will about it. Those are the rules, and CanCan politely asked that we respect them. So,..... sending a PM is some huge inconvenience.

On second thought. Nevermind. I guess it is acceptable since you are only trying to sell some stupid bolts.

1/2". the lengths are going to vary if you have a body lift. A bed is around 3" thick at the mounting points. so if you get 4" bolts that should work. I usually find the longest bolt I have, drop it down through each hole and see how much longer or shorter of a bolt I need.

you could use a small wood dowel if you don't have any long bolts.
