bed lengths

is there 2 different longbed lengths? i put a bed from a 3/4 ton truck with 56" rear springs on my 1/2 ton frame with 52 inch springs and now my tire looks like it moved forward /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

if they were both long beds they should be the same lenth. Are they close in the same years?

mines an 86 his was an 84 i think

would a shackle flip and a 4 inch block move the axle forward

Nope it wouldn't move it anywhere but up. Has either one if the beds fenders been hacked? That would change how it looks.

nope not hacked at all, also when i put the 14bsf in there the slipyoke on the drive shaft was all the way in on the t-case

ive heard of people with a shackle flip made the rear axle move forward 1" or so.

it dosnt bother me seeing its gona be shortned in a few days, i just thought it was weird, but hey nothings perfect /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

after my truck was lifted I noticed how the rear axle was pushed forwared.... after taking the rear block out I really noticed it.. so a set of bushwacker cutout flares and 4" off of the front of the wheel well and she is back in the middle... /forums/images/graemlins/hack.gif
