When I bought my Jimmy it had a soft top on it, but the hard top came with it. The "bed rails" that sit between the tub and the top were off the truck to make room for the soft top. When I got the truck they were left behind.

I didn't care too much because I thought I wouldn't put the hard top back on anyway. Now I'm rethinking that and may want to.

The PO is long gone so I'll probably need to find some, either from a vendor or a junkyard. I thought I saw them in the LMC catalog online but can't find them now.

What are these called in the catalog? And are they absolutely necessary? I don't remember having them on my 76.

The top sits directly on the truck. If you are talking about the stainless rails they just set in the top to give you some bling.

If you need some, I've got a pair sitting in the garage, and pics in a for sale add.

Hard top trim?

Thanks Kota. Those are exactly what I'm talking about. If they aren't necessary I'll probably leave them off. Bling aint my thing. If they're only visible when the top is off and don't have any functional value...

Actually, they are only used when the top is on. Top goes directly on to bed rails, then the stainless trim goes over the inside of the top, then the bolts go through them and the top into the bed rails.
