Can someone put a tape on the dimension between the wheelwells in the bed of a Blazer. My Blazer is 300 miles away and I would like to purchase a suspension bench seat for the back, but need to know it fits. Thanks...mine is a 72 K5 but I think any truck would be similar.

Every pickup I've ever measured is right about 48" (a sheet of plywood). I'll check when I'm done with homework.

Edit:
my 76 k5 is actually about 50". It's still full of camping gear, so i couldn't get you a perfect measurement, but that should be within a halfinch or so.

Get a 48" custom width for a stock width bed. My wells were widened and now my wells are right at about 42 1/2". I got a 42" custom width suspension bench for the back and it fits with about 1/4 gap per side.

I was hoping to hear the width was a bit more, since the seat is 50" wide. The deal for the seats is almost too good to pass up though. Do you think I could make this seat fit?...I'm going to need to get some more dimensions. Thanks Guys!

Post up a picture of the seat. My wheelwells aren't very tall inside, you could squeeze it in depending on shape. How thick is the carpet? Mine is all stripped out, that would make quite a difference. The wheelwells on my 96 came in a good inch or more with the dropin bedliner.
