Bedliner

I'm no help on the outside but @brans87 has a great thread where he sprayed the inside of his with Raptor.

inside of mine was done about 10 years ago with real deal Line X
and it sucks ass, its peeling, its trapped moisture under it, im going to have to strip it all off and go back in with some new metal in spots. The problem is if you do have rust start you wont see it until its all the way through.

Your mileage may vary.

Maybe the prep work wasn't done right

thats highly likely but it appears it was sprayed on properly, my biggest concern is any rust that starts after its installed is impossible to see, meaning until its ig enough for a hole, you dont know its there.

919jackass did Dura brak probably 4 years ago or longer and has held up very well on his burb body. I know he spent 2 weeks at night prepping it and I do mean highly prepping it.

I did Raptor liner on inside on my K5 and prep was key a lot of work!!!!!! Sprayed it at 45 psi for rougher texture.

I'm sorry this happened but thank you for letting folks know. I'm considering doing a bedliner myself

I have used Duplicolor in the past and it was good for the money. The guys at my body shop supply house didn't recommend it, (although they do sell it), but I like that I am able to make quick touch ups without a gun and all that mess. It doesn't even compare to the good stuff and should probably be considered more of a textured paint.

I won't do it except on the rear cargo area after primer and sealer. I really don't think it's a good idea unless you do the prep work properly. Previous owner did a piss poor job with a good product.

Any suggestions on the best long term avoid rust with maybe a bit of noise reduction solution for the rear cargo area. I was also considering ditching the carpet due to moisture retention and going with something I can toss a deer in and clean up without too much fuss. Paint it and rubber removable mat?

When I was a little boy we had a 200 acre farm in Cedartown, Ga. When my dad bought the place it came with a pet deer. It ran loose but would come eat right from my hand. He would come running at the sound of a rattling Oreo bag. An eight year old boy feeding Oreos to a slimy nosed deer, does not a hunter make. Lol! That being said, a fitted mat with turned up edges is the route I would go.
