bedlining the bumpers....rear done

i have to agree on the junkyard hunting. bedlining would look cool, but trashing a good chrome bumper in the prep is a painful thought. that's why i haven't done that with mine. my rear has a biiig rust area that was there since i bought the beast. but the front is in great shape, so i just can't bring myself to ruin the chrome on the front, just so i can bedline both and have them match. so, the rear gets to stay ugly til i find a better way. :doah:

I have never sprayed it on chrome, just well prepped painted surfaces. I don't know that it will stick, but at $7 a can it is worth a shot.
well, i`ll try the rear bumper first( in bad shape chrome wise) and see how it comes out, i`m planning on grinding down the chrome real good, then using the 60 grit, then spray it

well, the rears done, came out just as good as i wanted it, if you really get up close you can see some of the marks from grinding, that i couldnt quite get down.....i`ll live with it, looks better than it did, pics to follow

:D :D sorry guys, just as i was about to snap them, i got dragged away...so, they never got taken, but tomorrow morning before work i promise:D
