Beef Cake d44

has anyone tryed to beef up a 44 to make it as strong as a 60. i could get a high pinion for about 200 bucks i was thinking about trussing the axel and upgreading shafts and maybe even a spool. been done before im sure how soild is it for a 6.2 blazer should i hold off and break down to buy a 60?

You can but it will be just as strong as a stock dana 60. With all the money you dump into it, you could build a 60

thank u i also got a dana 60 lined up for about 850 i wish i could get a better deal maybe even a whole 1 ton
