I have accumulated quite a pile of engine parts that I'm tempted to throw together and drop into my '89

Latest find was a freshly built 383 Vortec engine that the kid could never get to run right--possible culprit mismatched cam to stock computer

I also have an interesting cam that came out of a Mercury 350 Mag engine that appears to be a GM 94666492 with .450-.452/465 lift. It could cross to a Crane 104224

Yard sale find Doug's ceramic coated longtube headers that were never installed--dude lost his truck in a divorce before they were ever installed

Edelbrock MPFI intake for Vortec heads NIB given to me by a widow

Holley 670 cfm throttle body that was returned missing the injectors (Don't need them with the MPFI anyway)

I think this combo will make a nice beast of an engine

What version is that MPFI kit?

I actually have 2. I think I have a 3505 and a 3506 One for regular heads and one for Vortecs.

I think the only difference between the early and late version is the chip or the piggy back chip. Everything else should be the same

Yeah the chip is the part I was wondering about. Be cool if your pile o stuff works out

Edelbrock said they still make them. They don't do custom chips so I thought I'd start with one for a stock Vortec engine and one for their head/cam combo and see how they work. The cam is supposed to be stock Vortec compatible already

I can work with this!

I saved my old license plate "TYRFRYR" I think it may be time to resurrect it

The Vortec heads are on 1996 V8 The two part number(3505 3506) are for 95 and down 350 engines.

I’m just nosy to see the end results

Are you sure about that? See that 3505 cast into the intake and the Vortec 4 bolts on each side pattern?

The 3501 fists old style sbc heads and I have one of those too

Votex V8 96 and up. Vortec V6 and 4 cylinder 88 and up.
