1) My new warn hubs won't go in far enough to allow the outer lockring to hold the hub in place, why?

None of this is together yet, but i got the parts ordered and am about to send the truck off to the body shop. I'm pulling the motor out of my 4x4 to put in the 65 with the above parts and putting another 350 i bought into my 86.
It's nice to have a job and NOTHING else to spend money on
