never finished tho...

Curious, how'd you overcome the frame and body differences at the footwell area behind the front seats?

it's no big deal really, on the old body to new frame set up. just gotta fab some body mounts. mine are easy beacuse i have a 6 point cage and it is solid mounted to the frame. ;)

I still can't believe how bad that 83 body was under the paint :eek1:

Glad to hear it's moving under it's own power again :D

It is not rattle can. I shot it in my garage with a paint sprayer. Far from show quality, but kick ass for the trails. ;)

I forget the brand. I'll take a look today as I cruise by the shop where I bought it.

was talking about the primer actually...not that i don't like the final color, just like the flat color for my application...

yeah - that was rattle can. you can get it thru napa. it's ultra flat olive green. they've got brown, grey and black too so that you can do camo stuff. this was decent paint, but i don't like how flat paint looks when wet (which it is alot of the time here in the PNW), and when you cover a large area, such as the hood, it gets lines/streaks in it. the sides of the body will too, but those get rubbed out pretty good on trees and brush as you're wheelin.

looked at it for ya today: PPG is the brand. dunno anything about it tho.

4" all spring procomp lift in last 3 pics.

35" mt/r's, middle two pics.

38" tsl ss last pic

lots of body cutting (i.e. 5-6" off of bottom of truck in pics 3/4)
