... does anyone have the easy fix for a horn apparently shorting out and killing the interior lights/radio???

hahah I like your thinking, but.....

.... how about something that will fix the radio and interior lights?

hahahah nice answer, you'll do.

dleroy43 must not have a working horn.:haha:
You'll have to pull the horn button/cover to investigate. The screws for the contact ring, have plastic insulators that get brittle with age. They might be falling apart.

Yes, the easy fix is to change your cigarette lighter. Sounds dumb? Bet ya $10 dollars in Utah beer this will fix it.

so that's like... $3 in regular beer? I'll take that bet! LOL

THanks guys, I'll have to take a look. I suspect the insulators personally... everything went when I hit the horn. We'll see!

Don't discount the cigarette lighter. I wasn't joking. Everything in the dash is grounded together in a funny manner. I had a similar problem and it was a bad lighter. I almost guarantee it is the lighter.

I had something similar when I bought my truck. A hard top bolt had grounded out my interior light and screwed all kinds of stuff up.
