This looks very similar to the ORD magnum box. Has anyone ever used the behemoth. Any thoughts? I bet the ORD is better quality over all but the price difference is significant.

where are the reviews and installed pictures? Do you know Chris?

I don't do Pirate, only links :D

I think this (could) be a great add on to those who are looking for more gearing. I've had a hard time finding alot of information on the product and customer service.

I did Mike, said bad things and long ass waits. Probably not a good move, but curious how they turned out. Sounds like there should be at least a dozen of them out there. :(

I was just visiting their website...heard about the bad experience on Pirate. Apparently, they are 2 hours away from me....may have to contact them and see if I can swing by sometime and check out the operation....hmmmm.

I haven't read the pirate thread in a long time, did they ever actually send boxes out to people? Last I read money was paid but months without a product.

I know 3 guys running em all got their cases within 2 weeks of ordering.

Am working on a bronco build and we are using one. Was ordered last week got the tracking number today I think won't actually ship for a day because of the holidays I can post pics when we get if you guys want me to

Do we want pics???

Is that a serious question?

Martin

:haha:

I've been looking at their box as well, I have read the pirate threads and their first attempt, which was a chop box type of setup, did look like a complete pile of s**t . It would seem that maybe they have gotten their act together and the new box definitely does appear to be a sweet setup.
I was actually planning on contacting them this week to get some info on time frames and some other specifics. Im seriously considering giving them a shot, worst case my CC company has a very easy procedure for disputing charges and I'll have my money back pretty quickly :D

What are the guys you know using them in (vehicle/ drivetrain setup) and are they happy ? Are they "using them" the way that YOU would, meaning would the case hold up in your rig in your opinion ?

I emailed them the other day after I posted and I got a response pretty damn quickly. Im seriously thinking about putting an order in right after the New Year. If all else fails, they are only 2 hours away.

Well, I went ahead an emailed him, depending on his reply and what else blazinzuk has to say I may pull the trigger on one.....well ......right away :D

Lil update here. Soon as it gets here there will be pics.

I was wrong on the time frame. I didn't order it and just misunderstood my buddy. Gonna be end of January round about. Althougb in further conversation he did say we aren't in any huge hurry.

The 2 guys I know really well with em have not put them through their paces yet. The one guy that's not semilocal to me has. Seem to work just fine. My one friend is a machinest though and says its a very nice peice. The planetaries went right in no muss no fuss all the holes were threaded well. Edges were not sharp where they didn't need to be etc etc etc.

I can keep this thread updated with communication with behemoth though.

Before we even get to that part on this bronco build though we got a frame to cut up a body to modify and then building all new mounts for everything as it gos back in. :D

Just a little update....
I emailed Jacob at Bohemoth last night with a few questions and concerns, I recieved a reply at 7:30am this morning. He addressed my concerns and stated that current lead time for a box is approx 4 weeks, he admitted right away that there were lots of production problems in the begining and although he still can not get them out the door as fast as he would like there should be no issues, he also claims that there have been no failures of the strong box from anyone running one.
I plan on pulling the trigger on one as early as his week, I will be using the planetary from a driver side drop 32 spline 241 and putting that in front of my current round pattern 32 spline 205.
