Who knew that the axle tube on my rear 10 bolt would bend before the gov-lock went out?/forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif If you look close, you can see that the passenger side tube is bent up and the rear passenger tire is tilted in at the top.

Nice work! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif How hard did you have to land on that corner to bend it like that? /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

OUCH, LOL chevy4wd has a bent rear 10bolt in his truck...but the PO put a couple shims in one side to make the truck sit level lol

replace it with the rear end out of the tractor next to it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The funny thing is, I have no clue how I bent it. I was washing the truck the other day and I'm like, "Hey, my tires leaning in!" /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Just proves there toughness. Bent axel and still running /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

These pics just dont do it justice. I seen it in person the other nite and it is tilted in pretty good. The cast center section is bleeding as well where the tube presses in. No leak, just a seepage.

are you shure that last speed bump didnt do it /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
That sucks, oh well now you have to get a 14bolt...right /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yup, 38s. Of course, I wasn't planning on keeping the 10 bolts anyways. The water around here is really deep, so I needed the 38s so I would'nt flood out. Time to search for fundage for 1 tons. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting the gov-lock to hold up with the 38s, but some how, it did.

In all honesty the housing was prob already bent before the 38s. Hes only had it out a few times w/ them on. The 38s just make it show up where the 33s didnt.

I did notice the gear oil seeping out before I mounted the 38s. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

aren't bent axles fun? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif When I **SNAPPED** my 12 bolt the diff was dragging on the ground when I had 35''s on it /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif. Split the cast iron housing clean from left to right right down the center of the tubes! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif My current 12 bolt is trussed in on the top bottom and front and it is still almost bent as much as yours... you'd figure I'd learn /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
