Bent crankshaft?

Well, I have a 383 stroker that blew a head gasket at 45000 miles and at the same time, the harmonic balancer went out. I didn't know I had a harmonic balancer issue, so I limped it home which was about 60 miles away. Top end was rebuilt and balancer replaced but the motor vibrates enough to shake the whole truck. Nothing externally is causing it and I was told the crank is bent. Is that possible given the situation? Could it be something simpler like a misfire or an error when the top end was put back together? The timing was off and when I dialed it in, that eases some vibration, but not all. Or perhaps the if the valves were not adjusted right?

Some 383 cranks are internally balanced, some are external. Sounds like maybe the wrong vibe damper?
