My friend was in back of my truck the other day and he said that the rear of the k5 was over about 3" to the left. so what does that mean? bent frame right? thanks

You sayin he was driving behind you and it looked like it was "dog legging" over to the left? Check for crazy wear on the tires, but it's probably just an optical illusion due to the rear axle being narrower than the front.

yes, it goes to the left. the tire wear seems ok. the tires are not to worn.

your frame isn't bent, but one frame rail is set back from the other one. like if you hit a tree with the front bumper on the right side it could possibly push the frame rail back. so instead of the frame rails and crossmembers making a rectangle, it now is shaped more like a diamond. it's easily fixable by a frame shop. i'd guess about $200 or so.

Measure each side from the bottom of the rockers and the frame. See which number is off.
