i couldn't see the pics of the pushrod. i have never seen one bent. i would be most concerned about the cam end of the rod. was that end beat up? hopefully the cam pushed it out of the way rather than beating up the lobe that drives the pushrod!

/forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif--In my 46 years on this earth,I have never seen a bent smallblock fuel pump pushrod--till today!--I would be concerned the cam didnt snap in two,or the block cracking in the hole the rod rides in--that shaft is pretty hefty,and doesnt bend very easy!.I have seen fuel pumps break off,dangling by the hoses(I did it myself when I put a smallblock pump on a 454--they arent the same!)but this is a first for the rod being bent!.Hope nothing else got trashed!. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
