Best 14FF diff cover?

Pesonally I love Diy4x stuff. Kert makes some killer parts... Would be my choice... But really you cant go wrong with any of the high quality covers out there...

Just stay away front eh big name companys and there cast covers...

there are a whole bunch to choose from. I choose the G.L.O. tread plate cover with the drain and fill plug.. here are some pics.

That's a pretty slick place to have the drain plug. Not sure how fast it would drain through that small of a hole but still pretty cool.

I was thinking about that too... I guess it doesnt really matter though. pull it out and walk away...

I have a crane high clearance on the front of mine and there really is no better cover made. Its cast out of 4340 chromoly and is a good looking design to boot.

Most of the covers on the market are pretty much bulletproof so go with the one that fits your wallet and/or looks right.

I can only say that my diff covers from www.ruffstuffspecialties.com are .375" thick plate and beefy as hell. You won't ever brake one and they are a 1 piece cover that is mandrel bent then welded.

I have to agree with this. I got a diff cover from ruffstuff and its plenty beefy....no need to worry aobut breaking it. They have good prices too.

oh, my very first pic whoring!

Diy4x Razorbacks front and rear... i know Kurt has put drain plugs into them before, i just didnt order them that way

Solid 1/4" plate with ribbing, and the rings are made from 5/16" plate... no way you can break these things

DO you have the website for these?

I really like the way the Great Lakes Offroad cover drains. That will will get ALL the water contamination out for those of us who do mud/water. I do however prefer the full width bolt ring for more gasket seal - or is this a moot point and I need not worry about that?

The Ruffstuff cover looks good too.

I think the diff will get a more thorough and complete fluid drainage with the Great Lakes drain plug setup.

Hmmm....not sure which one to get now.
