Anybody know from previous experience what the best aftermarket seats are that are a good price to go into a blazer. I Would like them to be easily mount to the origianl mounting brackets and accept a harness and offer great support. In the future I will be mounting them to a cage when i fininsh the cab section of my rollcage.

Thanks.

Since you haven't received any responses... I'd say the answer is nothing?

You will likely have to fab or purchase something to adapt the seat to the stock mounts. That said, this is usually easy as pie, especially if you are purchasing an aftermarket performance seat.

I just picked some seats up from an Acura RSX and I simply cut off the stock (Acura) mounts, and will weld some simple tabs on to the rails.

Well, since you've said nothing about price and want the best, Beard..

I don't remember if they actually can bolt to the original brackets, but they definitely sell a slider bracket designed for the K5...

They can get pricey tho.. iirc, basic seats run 300 to 350 ish a seat in their better lines... start throwing in fancy options, the brackets, etc and you can be pushing a grand for a pair...

I haven't seen a better seat tho...

corbeau makes a decent seat, and they have adapters to make them fit in any vehicle.

BEARD seats are very nice came with there own seat traks and were under 500.00$ Ididn't think that was too expensive.:dunno:

depends on what series.. super, ultra, street, etc...

I just bought myself a pair of beard seat, I haven't received them yet because of the month it takes to get them but I did sit in some before I bought them and they are absolutely wonderful, can't wait to get those bad boys in. I'm having to fab up my own brackets because I don't wanna spend the extra money to get the slider brackets that do bolt right into the K5

ultra's, pro, rs or pro 2's?

I was gonna do some rs's...

i was lookin into the Mastercraft suspension seats or w/e i think they'd be right for my rough rider. lol

I was really considering a suspension seat, but was concerned about not being able to adjust the seat to my liking...
