Best All terrain tires for 95% street use?

not made anymore . denman tire went out . interco makers of swamper got them and now called cobalt m/t and at this point only 35 or 37 inch starting at 17 inch rim .

look for a bfg all terain or general grabber at2 somthing along these lines for good road use and mild off road .

Do you know if those Cobalts are a decent tire? I want something kinda period correct looking for my '78, and U.S. Mags sells an 8-lug slotted mag in 17x10.
