Best Alternator to buy

Hey all, the alternator in my '84 K5 is dead and I need to buy a new one but don't want to buy a piece of crap. The truck is stock for now but I plan on putting a CB and a winch on it in the near future. What's the best and most durable alternator on the market these day's? I only want to buy one, and don't mind spending more upfront to get longer reliability down the road.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look into retrofitting a Pontiac Transport alternator if you want more amperage. I think they are rated at 140a. Do a search here for more info.

I used a 110A I think it was off a 87 TBI K10 that had every option imaginable. The thing was awesome in my old nova, the high beams lit everything up light broad daylight which is something you dont usually associate with early 70's vehicles.
