Liner Xtreeme. Best DIY bedliner in my book. I and a couple others have done the entire tub. Very, very tough stuff.

I'm assuming you're not asking about a pro job like Rhino or whatever. That would cost more than the truck. Whatever you do, stay away from the paper thin, air-dried, roll-ons like Herculiner and Duplicolor.

its at the bodyshop right now so he is going to do it i am just curious to which is best and yes might cost more then truck but it should protect it its going to be the whole truck

make sure you get extra UV protectant in it.. most liners will fade big time on exposed sheetmetal areas...

My liner extreme has held up pretty well in my book.

The biggest thing is prep prep prep. And then prep some more. It won't stick well to a smooth surface. Everything needs to be scuffed up and free of any oil etc.

your's isn't on your hood out in the sun everyday tho...

No but I did the top of the tailgate and about an inch down on the outside of it and it's seemed to hold up well. Definitely looks %100 better than the herculiner that is in fact on my hood :haha:

This. Can't stress enough about GOOD prep. Then keep it out of the sun when you can. Cover it, or park it in shaded areas as much as possible. It will last much longer that way regarding fading. Extra UV as Paul said is a good thing.

I paid $750 to have my interior LIne X'd. There are a few important points;

When you look at my pics, youll see I circled what holes I wanna keep and what ones I want filled in.

Also, youll have to figure out wiring, like for rear speakers, I went out the firewall and under the truck and up beside the rollbar and hid the wire in the roll bar padding.

Prep work is the key, make sure there is ZERO rust, where you put the coating or it WILL eat thru the bottom. Ask me how I know. :doah:

That is sooo good looking. Hope to do this to mine if I can keep it.

By comparison, the Liner Xtreeme was $200 and a butt-ton of work. Agree that prep and zero-rust is key. If anyone elects to do this themselves, foamy earplugs are great for plugging bolt holes. Just be sure to pull them all out and remove all masking before it cures. This stuff is hard as a rock.

Same Liner Xtreme as above. Sprayed might I add, not roll on. I still have half the kit left as well.

The standard black kit comes with enough to mix 3 gallons worth. I used half of the kit 1.5 gallons, and still have the other half, plan to use it to spray the floor again after I install my cage and run all the floor tie ins.. It is uv resistant and apparently has Kevlar in it....
