After completing my new lift, 3/4 ton, cross steer, 4 wheel disc brakes, and everything else, i added the final touch.

An 8' door so i can get her in the garage. I got real lucky, i sold my old 7' door and ordered this new 8' and got her installed this morning. Best investment i've made

Kinda hard to tell in the pics, but i can now just drive her in.

when my wife and I were going over home designs with our builder the first thing I said I wanted was an 8 foot door on my garage!

I really really appriciate the compliments on the rig. But its so damn cold out there i haven't shown much interest in it lately. I'm gonna do some final alignments of the new door tommorow and in out of the cold she comes.

My 3/4 ton conversion is mostly finished but i need to tidy up a few things. I still haven't built my upper mounts for my dual shocks in the rear, and im gonna build some torque bars for it as well. This new door is a huge help for me to be able to accomplish all this.

Hey Makovai,

What was the outcome with your brakes? Ever get them bled and solid?

LOL......too cold. We aren't even getting above freezing lately. I really needed this new door so i can start trouble shooting my brakes as well as other issues. I really really hate this time of year.

To top it off i have brake issues with my dailey driver as well. The steering wheel shakes really bad when i brake. I think one side is locking harder than the other or something like that.

Shoot, I swapped my 14BFF into the burb in the driveway with the temp @ 10 deg. F. It snowed four inches in the four hours it took to do the job. Just dress for it and it's all good ;) . But I do envy y'all with a garage   .

(Here's some pics to prove it:)

yeah, i'm anxious as he!! to get my rig lifted with new rubber, etc, but i'm also dreading the day cuz no more indoor parking.... time to add a carport at least..

yeah, with my lift, if i throw these 32's back on, i'll just be able to get it in after..

but thats definitely one of those "i'm only gonna do it when i REALLY need to" kinda things...

oh, and good morning...

You have alot more motivation than I do. Maybe when i was younger, but my old bones just aren't what they used to be.

Shoot, you're only two years older I. As for motivation, I can procrastinate with the best of them. The only reason I did the swap in the driveway was that I had the front re-geared to 4.10's and had to get the rear end changed so I could do our New Years run.
