With all the moving and storing stuff my engine hoist has gone missing. Well I need one. Best deal you guys have found?

Harbor freight one OK?

Closeout deals etc. Gonna look used too

I use the harbor frt. 2 ton- has lifted my big block around with no problems. That was the best deal I could find

I had really good luck with the foldable harbor freight unit. Stored good as well. I did have a failure with it when I left it extended all the way out and lifted a bbc/th400 out of a truck lol. Just blew the pressure relief plug. Once that was back in as far as I know it's still kicking.

I'd have no issues (and plan on) buying another.

Plus with the coopins they can be pretty cheap

I have had the HF foldable one for 10+ years with no issues. I use it to lift all kinds of stuff. Stores nice. I bought it in a returned box at 50% plus the 20% off of that.

I used the HF 2 ton to move around the cummins/trans combo....rolls a little harder with that much weight on it, but it does fine lifting that 1500lbs!

I found a colapsable one in new condition for 100 bucks

Have had the 2 ton HF foldable for several years. No complaints other than one of the casters broke when I loaned it out :dunno:

I had wanted to get some better casters anyway so no big deal. Can't stand solid steel casters.

I got the 2 Ton Big Red/Torin at Pep Boys for less than Harbor Freight's.

if you can wait keep an eye on some of the government auction sites. i was able to pick up a 1 ton for $26 when all was said and done

I'd sell ya mine cheap but I can't find a box that big and it would take a crapload of stamps :haha:
