I'm painting my 73 Blazer but want to get some new door shells. Anyone have experience with any aftermarket door manufacturers and the quality of the door shells? Are there anymore OEM body manufacturers left or am I stuck with thin gauge pop can crap? Haven't had any luck finding any at the junkyards

I haven't heard of anyone who is pleased with aftermarket doors.
Which is why we plan on fixing the ones on my son's '72.
You may want to look at a road trip!

Since you'd have to cut down any door you get anyways (unless you manage to find someone selling the right doors in better condition) I'd keep looking for factory doors. As mentioned, expand your search and be willing to travel if necessary. You'll be happier going that route I think.

Goodmark makes a nice product. Not as thin of metal as most aftermarket companies.

Have you used Goodmark before? On rockauto.com they have the goodmark shells for about $100 which is the cheapest I can find. Any idea on the gauge of sheet metal they use? Nobody seems to list the gauge for any of them.

I sell Goodmark every day. I very rarely get complaints on the thickness of the metal. But I will get some specs for you today.

I wish I could get all this nice west coast sheetmetal to all you fellas with rusty rides. Most old trucks in junkyards here are condemned to the crusher because they can't pass smog. I grew up in the Midwest and most squarebodies were rusting away before I could even drive back home.

Are you able to collect commission on this sale? Methinks you earned it, doing the research like that...

Haha although I appreciate GWeakland620's help very much, I had bought them before I saw his post about Keystone.

Once I saw that Goodmark was 20g, I called them and they referred me to Keystone which only sells to body shops, who they then referred me to LKQ which is who I bought them from.

He did sell me on Goodmark though, glad he had experience with them because, like I said earlier, it's impossible to find anything from the manufacturer regarding their sheet metal gauge.
