What works best for the heat/ insulator for the floors. The stock one I have is just a piece of plastic with some cotton like material. When I take it out I think the stuff will get torn. It is not rotted just smashed so it is so thin.

I'm going to use Lizard Skin, both the heat and sound insulation, when I do mine.
How about Jute pads are they any good?

i undercoated my entire Sub floor with like 6 coats, then dynomatted all the passenger floorboards, and doors, then used the jute padding with new carpet. It stays much cooler/hotter and is alot quieter too. very nice
