best looking wheels on k5?

i like my eagel 589's better than mickey thompson II's. holes are too big on the mickey's IMO.
Both those brands are junk vs. the older Alcoa 8 holers that they produced for Mickey that they stopped producing a few years back. Remember the FORGED mickey tompson classics? Those were superior to any common aluminum wheel besides a Weld, which were identical in strength. I had a set of those Alcoas for a while 15x12 and wish I wouldn't had sold them. Much better than the cast junk on the market today.

On top of that Alcoa and Weld use T-606 aluminum that is nearly completely pure, which produces a shine unmatched by any cheap cast wheel and also oxidizes at a much slower rate.

what makes forged better than cast besides forged being stronger...

I called a store about The Alcoa Challenger and they dont have them a member on another forum has them and said it took him years to find them....he just found some and bought them

Forget wagon wheels, they went out in the 1800's.....Welds look the best on almost anything, thats the super single series of course. Not the gangster thug Evos.

Chrome steel wheels, whatever there called, you knew what I meant. I have a set on my 42s and they dont look bad.

Besides the fact that they are twice as strong..... If you go with Welds the rim itself is thiner. This creates a nice look, without sacraficing strength. THe biggest thing would be that Forged wheels used premium T606 aluminum. Basically the best aluminum known in the automotive industry. Cast wheels are usually made with a much lesser grade aluminum with LOTS of impurities like nickle, iron, and other stuff I can't remember. The impurities cause the rim to oxidize faster, and not let the aluminum shine itself near as well as a Weld or original Classic will.

As far as the Challengers go...I can't help you, never liked them.

Chrome doesn't get anyone anywhere and black doesn't either, they're colors.

VERY good choice, you will love them. Too bad you didn't want 12's...I have a 15x12 Sidewinder that is new I could sell for cheap, then you would only have to buy three at regular price. :D

oh really

I love 12" wide wheels cept I DD it and the wide wheels could cause wearing issues on front end parts. And I dont like the idea of running a 12.50 on a 12" wide wheel and I need to have some clearance to have fun I only plan on running 3" lift with 15x10s and 33x12.50

its LAID, lol. Oh and black is for jeepers.

Well, keep in mind if you have or plan too upgrade your axles, you'll be looking for 8 lug rims. Personally I'd buy axles befor rims if you haven't already.
