I was removing old tires and 2 or 3 of my lug studs got the threads stripped.
When I had all 6 studs shear off while I was driving, I ended up pulling the axle to replace the 6 studs.
I'd like to avoid doing that again. Is there a shortcut?
I'm also wondering if anyone knows where I should get new studs and the size.
This is on a 1975 k5 blazer.
Thanks for the help.

I am assuming rear axle since you said you pulled the axle to replace studs in the past. Usually if its just a quick fix I would slide off the brake drum, knock the old ones out with a hammer, pull the new ones in using a nut and washers. For just stock replacement studs and nut, I would go with dorman or whatever the local parts store has. They can look them up off of year/model.
