Best paint?

Hey guys, I am in the middle of building my rig and wondered if there were any opinions on paint. I am planning on Durabak for the body but want to paint the axles,trans cases, leafs while I have them out. I have a compressor and sray gun but rattle can would work too. Suggestions?

I have become a big fan of Hammerite paint for under the truck. Its tough as nails, stops rust, Cleans up easy, and looks great too.
You can get it in rattle cans or by the quart or gallon if you want to spray it. Many hardware stores carry it. Never seem to see it in auto parts stores.

well, this is certainly a trick question.. no rattlecan will ever come close to a real 2-part...

best = not cheap... Want tough and durable? douche it in Imron.... want cheap? Rustoleum...

wait, whats that I hear? it's the POR15, Rustbullet bandwagon about to pull up...

I would would go with the rustoleum, thats what i painted my axles with, and its not to bad.
