After chatting with at least two and half people, I'm going to try to do the following to patch my floor:
1. Cut patch to fit and prep area
2. Use adhesive to glue patch in place and secure with sheet metal screws
3. Grind off screw heads
4. Continue floor frolicking as before.
It sounds like this should work well, as this is not a support beam or anything like that: it doesn't get the seats bolted in or anything like that.
So, in anyone and everyone's experience, is there a preferred type of adhesive everyone uses? What anyone likes? I have local stores with access to the Fusor stuff and 3m...and can certainly order more if needed.
