Crane has some bad arse 1" cold rolled arms for D60's. If I can find them, I have some pics of them on my ride...

I found the high steer kit from ORD but didn't find just a price on the arms themselves. i would like to buy from ORD since thats where I got my lift.

From their site: http://www.offroaddesign.com/Dana60crossover.htm

Steering arms: These are the arms that attach to the steering knuckles on the axle. Each one is supplied with new tapered nuts, but uses your factory studs to attach to the knuckle. Replacement studs are available if required. At this time (6/03) all right hand steering arms will have 2 holes so they can be upgraded to our High Steer conversion later if necessary. All current D60 arms are also drilled with the extra bolt hole to bolt on Dedenbear HD knuckles or factory GM, Ford and Dodge D60 knuckles.
RH Arm Part #: U9001
RH Arm Price: $150.00
LH Arm Part #: U9003
LH Arm Price: $150.00
Stud kit part #: U9002
Stud kit price: $28.00 (set of 4 ARP high strength, 190,000 psi studs)

I run (will be running) ORD on the Dodge and OTT Industries on the Jeepster. Both are for Dana 60s. The OTT stuff is pure BEEF!:D

Why 2 different arms? Since you have 2 brands can you tell me if the TRE mounting surface is higher than on the ORD arm? If so, do you know how much?

I've been staring at the OTT site for a couple of weeks now drooling. :tongue1:

I have the ORD arm (just running crossover) on the Dana 60 for my Dodge M880 I'm building. It will be combo offroader/driver.

The OTT arms, which are for a full hydro steering setup with center mounted ram, are on the Dana 60 for the Jeepster I'm building. So I don't know on the TRE mounting differences. It will be strictly offroad no street driving at all. Here is a link to some pics of the OTT arms. http://www.texas4x4.org/gallery/bruiser Towards the end of pics the arms are installed on the axle.

That showed me what I wanted to know. :thumb: Are those the regular or Hummer offset arms? Great pics! Thanks!

They are the Hummer offset ones. I'm going to get another set of Hummer 12 bolts for the Jeepster. I've got them on the Dodge and I really like how they got together with the rubber runflat and they don't look to bad either.

Cool, THANKS for all the arm info!

K5-newbie, sorry for the hijack but at least it was arm tech. :D
