Seems like the places around here want $2 and up for lug studs, is there anywhere online to get them cheap? If the price is right, I'll buy the 32 lug nuts I need there too.

That is the going rate for the nuts, if I sold them to you at that price shipped, I'd lose money.
Ouch! I'm gonna need 16 lug studs and 32 lug nuts, looks like I'll be spendin' some money.

The McGards I have for my daily driver were close to $100 IIRC. Nice lug nuts are not cheap, that is why the factory usually covers lug nuts with center caps or plastic caps...chrome lug nuts are very expensive.
McGards are expensive, but they're guaranteed to NEVER rust or chip. If you keep your rigs a long time and/or live in the rust belt then they're well worth the extra cash up front.
